To punish an action misses the target goal or ceasing and desisting further action(s) regarding the individual in question. The proper means to remedy the diress is to alter the means/understanding of the abuser(s) so that the route(s) taken become less and less habituated and the psychological processes become transparent enough that the action no longer stems from the thought. The flip-side of this realization is when the dog(s) become rabid and have transformed into vicious monsters, the route(s) that led to this outcome have already become habituated ot the point that the only remedy is to put them down humanely and force an emergency cease and desist. This is the worst case scenario but must be understood clearly for the topic at hand to be something to make one’s soul stronger and wiser.
